About the artist

Meet Arrietta Henry, a 26-year-old painter and artist based in Los Angeles, California. She is fueled by the power of love, creativity, and the profound depths of human emotion. She infuses her art with the therapeutic qualities of plants, transforming it into visual medicine focused on healing and personal growth.

In her journey as a first-generation Iranian-American queer woman, she has frequently encountered a lack of representation in various communities. However, her experience at Burning Man introduced her to radical inclusivity for the first time. In this environment, she found a space where she felt acknowledged, valued, and embraced irrespective of ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. This profound sense of belonging has ignited her dedication to further fostering it within and beyond the Burning Man community. She aims to dismantle systemic barriers present in everyday life, fostering inclusive spaces where everyone feels empowered and respected.
